the bear was headin towards the woods, should have let him go. I could see if he made the slightest move towards them or the crowd, but he didnt. If he did, then go ahead and empty your clips. But that little bucker was headin for the hills.

Well it was running off to the woods. And bears can run quite fast and quite a long ways on adrenaline. I think it was more so the right thing to do. I mean, none the less they scared the bear, so hopefully it will not return.

You damn hippy, Bears, and Mountain Lions attack and kill Deer, and other animals. I'll bet that bear ended up becoming somebody's steak on the table. It probably didn't go to waste. Not if Wildlife management had anything to do with it.

Yonder101: no problem. I live in southwest Florida and we have black bears. Don't get me wrong, if one was in my backyard and I thought for one moment my family was in any danger, I'd shoot him dead & sell the meat (but I'd keep the skin!). You're right, don't know from a vid exactly what occured, but it's obvious they shot it with darts and it was running into the woods.
