foundation. The narrator is speaking about Geology's definition of Subduction. That is why the author refers to "COMPRESSIVE SUBDUCTION." Which remains undefined, and unclarified. OR... If compressive subduction is valid we need to and must define it's LIMIT POTENTIAL. Geology's "SUBDUCTION" simply EATS (PERFECTLY) ONE HUNDRED PERCENT Earth's oceanic plate before 180 MYA. (Pardon me, while I turn my head aside and chuckle at the insanity of what that means.)

That compressive subduction BEGAN about 60 MYA! C. That the OLDEST Oceanic plate(Between 160 and 180 MYO ) has not Subducted YET!
