Youre free to express your opinion just dont say singers are fucked up today. Im sure if the love masterpieces these days like o re piya, maula mere maula, dheere jalna, tose naina lage, bawri piya, mitwa, teri ore, etc were replaced by running around tree songs from 90s, peoples reactions would be something like ugh, Im sick of this!! There comes a time when a certain genre of music become exhausted and music must evolve. Songs like dil de diya, beedi, halka halka are great hits and cater to todays diverse audience

man, you need to stop being a stubborn child and change with the times. I agree that the 90's had great hits; this song is a testament to that statement. But you can't say songs these days are bullshit. I admit Himesh needs to avoid singing but KK & Shaan have unique styles so don't diss them - songs like ek pal ke liye (KK) and hey shona (Shaan) or dus bahane (both together)..I like the romantic oldies too but without these singers who would breathe freshness into Bollywood music?

I wouldn't say over-rated.. Lata's voice was phenomenal in the 60's, 70's and most of 80's.. but with the 90's as she grew old you could tell her her voice didnt hold that x-factor anymore. Listen to Lata's Dil toh dil hai from Muqaddar ka sikandar and compare it to Humko humise churalo, you can tell the difference.. Alka's voice right now is as good as Lata's was in the 70's so we appreciate it more.. lets hope her voice remains like that for some time! :-)
